Stamarim was an ancient sorcerer and one of the original six members of the Council of Elders.
Background[]
Council of Elders[]
Stamarim joined together with five other Homo Magi, Hiwaelle, Awyss, Zzamaz, Amiffae and Mamaragan to form a council of sorcerers. They founded their own sanctuary inside the Multiverse, naming it the Rock of Eternity. Over time, they came to control humanity, putting them at odds with countless Gods and spirits.
They eventually discovered and captured the Seven Deadly Sins of Man, imprisoning them inside the Rock.
Discovering Teth-Adam[]
The Council had taken a liking to the city of Kahndaq, which rivalled the Ancient Egyptian Kingdom. Wishing to make their mark on humanity and involve themselves ever greater in human affairs, the council decided to finally choose a champion to represent them. They chose Teth-Adam, the Prince of Kahndaq, noting his mortal purity. The council summoned Teth-Adam to the Rock,
Death[]
Though believing they could defeat Adam and the Sins again, Stamarim was the first to die at the hands of their former champion.
Legacy[]
While Stamarim's seat in the Rock of Eternity was left vacant for thousands of years, Freddy Freeman was eventually given permission by Mamaragan to take his seat.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Magic: As one of the ancient Homo Magi, and a member and leader of the Council of Elders, Stamarim was very powerful in using magic.
- Teleportation: Stamarim was able to teleport to almost anywhere on Earth, as well as back and forth between Earth and the Rock of Eternity.
- Divine Wisdom: Stamarim's indomitable wisdom allowed him to lead the Council of Elders for thousands of years before his death. His wisdom and intelligence was on par with Athena and King Solomon. This wisdom was passed onto Teth-Adam and later, Billy Batson himself as Captain Marvel, and through him, the other Marvels.
