Supervillain Origins- Lex Luthor (Redux)
Alexander Joseph Luthor, more commonly known as Lex Luthor, is a megalomaniacal multi-billionaire businessman, as well as one of the smartest individuals in the world by far. He is the founder, owner and CEO of LexCorp Industries, based in the city of Metropolis.
Lex Luthor has become the arch-nemesis of Superman, whose very existence makes Lex feel threatened, which makes the malevolent super-genius go out of his way to expose the godlike alien superhero as a fraud, and to subsequently destroy him. Almost two years following the foiled Kryptonian invasion of Earth, Lex nearly succeeded in making Batman kill Superman.
Luthor had been jailed inside the Belle Reve penitentiary, he ultimately escaped during the Justice League's conflict with Darkseid.
