The Kent Farm is a product farm located in the rural town of Smallville, Kansas, and is the home of the Kent family.

History[]

The farm has been in the Kent family for generations, ever since they had migrated from Scotland over 200 years ago. In the late twentieth century it became the home of Jonathan and Martha Kent. One night, in 1980, a Kryptonian space craft crash landed in the Kent's field, containing an infant child. The couple took the baby in and adopted him, naming him Clark. Jonathan died of a heart attack in 1998, and was buried at the Farm, leaving Martha and Clark to look after it. In 2000, Clark left Smallville under the pretence of having found a job in Metropolis, while actually travelling to the North Pole to master his abilities. Following this, he settled in Metropolis after beginning his career as a reporter for the Daily Planet.

In 2013, the Kent farm came under attack from Kenny Braverman, one of Clark childhood friends, who had learned that the spacecraft responsible for his condition had contained Clark. Martha managed to escape, and spent a few weeks living with Helen and Joe Ross, the parents of Clark's best friend Pete.
