Franklin "Frank" Boles was a security guard working for Arkham Asylum. Unbeknownst to the other staff members, Frank was secretly feeding information to the Joker.
After the Jokers defeat, Boles was apprehended and sent to Blackgate Penitentiary. Several years later, Boles was broken out of Blackgate by the Joker, and joined his gang.
