Victor Stone is a former college athlete and football star. During the Second Metahuman Outbreak, Victor was involved in a terrible accident at the lab of his father, Silas Stone, forcing Silas to infuse cybernetics to his dying body.
With his future taken away from him, he left Star City, and went into hiding in San Francisco until he met Tim Drake., now known as Red Robin. After much convincing, Victor joined Drake's growing team of misfits, including Beast Boy, Starfire and Raven.

Victor was born and raised in Central City, Ohio, the son of S.T.A.R. Labs scientist Silas Stone and his wife Elinore Stone. In High School, Victor had gained a sports scholarship, with the dream of joining a major league football team of Ohio.
