Harley Quinn has been missing since Amanda Waller's first deployment of Task Force X, Batman asks Black Canary and Batgirl to track her down, finding any leads they can in Gotham City. This causes them to join forces with the Huntress, Katana and a reluctant Catwoman. The team have to find Harley before her self-made enemies do.

Plot[]

In Gotham City, Huntress is stopping a bank robbery. Before the robbery car can make a getaway, a large sonic boom flips the car on its side, and Black Canary reveals herself. Before they can talk, Huntress runs back inside where Selina Kyle tries to get away with some stolen cash. Huntress manages to apprehend her.

Before Huntress and Canary leave, leaving Kyle for the police, Red Hood appears, telling them that Batman wants to see them at the closed down Amusement Mile. At the park, Batman arrives and tells them that while he's still keeping an eye on the Joker, his girlfriend Harley Quinn seems to be on her own, and that the Penguin has come out of retirement to track her down as payback for the Joker's actions against him. He asks Huntress and Black Canary to find Harley, and also asks them to take Kyle along with them. After reminding Kyle that she owes him a favour, she agrees to help the two. Batman tells them that someone will be meeting with them at Harley's last seen location.

Production[]

Principal photography began in Los Angeles, California, in January 2019 under the working title Fox Force Five, a reference to a fictional TV show of the same name mentioned in Pulp Fiction. Although filming had been expected to also take place in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, the entire shoot took place in Los Angeles after the production received a tax credit from California. Filming was expected to be completed by mid-April 2019. In February, Charlene Amoia joined the cast. Filming wrapped on April 15, 2019.
