The Belle Reve Incident was an attack which took place during the formation of Task Force X. The incident involved a successful take over and outbreak at Belle Reve Penitentiary, leaving all personnel murdered and the majority of its inmates escaping, among them Scarecrow, the Riddler, Penguin and the Joker.
