The Chilling Truth (alternatively titled Batman: The Chilling Truth) is a 2014 one issue comic book starring Batman. The comic explores the early crime fighting career of Batman and his ultimately choice not to take a single human life following his quest to track down and deal with Joe Chill, the man who killed his parents.
Plot[]
Bruce Wayne has recently began patrolling the streets of Gotham City as the masked vigilante Batman. Meeting with commissioner James Gordon, the commissioner tells him that a recently released inmate from Blackgate Penitentiary has began working for crime lord Carmine Falcone, and will be meeting . Back at the Batcave, his butler Alfred Pennyworth asks him why he seems so personally interested in this meeting, and Bruce reveals that the inmate is Joe Chill, the man who murdered his parents years ago.
