- Helen Weisinger is a combination of two different names: the first being Helen Jordan, who in DC Comics is the wife of Larry Jordan, the first Air Wave, and later takes on the mantle of Air Wave after Larry's death. The second is Mort Weisinger, a comic book editor who helped create the first Air Wave Larry Jordan.
